Tasted more like a cornbeef then brisket
This is either my 5th or 6th brisket and have not been disappointed yet. I have never and will never cook my brisket in an oven. They go in my smoker with a mixture of hickory and oak and are smoked at 225 degrees for 7-8 hours. Always delicious.
This brisket is a family favorite. Pat rub with lots of salt all over the meat, wrap in foil and cook at 300 degrees for 5 hours, one hour with oven off, and then 5 minutes under the broiler. Just incredible. We live in a Texas high quality bbq restaurant area and my wife says “not smoky but just as good as any restaurant.”
Just fantastic brisket. Made it in the oven, wrapped in foil. Sometimes I feel like grass fed, especially the cheaper cuts, can be gamey. Not this. I will definitely buy again.
