I’ve never had this cut of meat before so we decided to try it. My husband put a dry rub of seasonings on it and we smoked on our Traeger for 2 hours then grilled it at 450 degrees for 5 minutes each side. Amazing!
One of our favorite cuts and always mouthwatering delicious. I marinade overnight, cook low in oven till it reaches about 110 degrees, let it rest for 20-30 minutes, then sear in cast iron for a few minutes to brown it up and heat it through and it is fabulous every single time. Don't have a grill and probably never will but this cooking method delivers an absolutely succulent cut of beef every time.
I grew up on a beef farm, so I know what good beef tastes like. It has been a journey trying to find that quality of meat. American Grazed Beef has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. So tender, so full of flavour. Not just the ribeye, but even the ranch steaks or Minute steaks. All quality meat. I expected the minute steaks to be lower quality cuts, but they were the exactly opposite. Great flavour and tender. Perfect breakfast steak.
I also tried the 1/2 lb burgers, WOW. Arguable the best burger I have ever eaten. It didnt shrink and the rich beef taste was amazing. Thanks American Grazed Beef.
